Project Description The scheme comprised the construction of a new build two storey teaching block with an attached infill link to the existing school together with extensive drainage and external works in the heart of the existing school campus. The design included reinforced strip and pad concrete foundations, structural steel frame with SIPS infil, composite metal deck floors, with external cladding and a feature masonry, timber and glazing façades, standing single ply roof, aluminium double-glazed windows, doors and curtain walling, lift, washrooms and fixtures and fittings. New extensive M&E and HVAC installations. New internal fittings provided. Externally, new paved areas, paths and parking areas were formed, SUDS drainage and new incoming services. BREEAM rating Very Good.
